Terms of service

These Terms explain the agreement between you and Beamond Limited when you create, publish or manage a website using BadPigeon.

Effective from 15 October 2026

Please read these Terms before creating an account. They contain important information about subscriptions, customer content, payment and donation links, cancellation and deletion.

1. About us and these Terms

BadPigeon is operated by Beamond Limited, a private company limited by shares registered in Ireland under company number 825180.

Registered office: Beamond House, Bellewstown, Co. Meath, A92 X668, Ireland
Contact: Use our verified contact form

By creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you act for a business, club, organisation or other person, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for them.

2. Who may use the service

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. Both consumers and people acting for a business, club, organisation or professional project may use the service.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights you have under consumer law.

3. The service

BadPigeon lets you prepare, publish and manage a simple website at an address provided through the service. Features may include templates, stock images, customer-uploaded images, wording assistance, public contact details, announcements, visit and contact-click counts, collaborator access and website export.

You remain responsible for deciding whether the website and its content are suitable for your needs. The service does not provide legal, regulatory, accessibility, tax or professional advice.

4. Payment and donation links

The service may allow you to publish a link to a payment or fundraising page operated by a supported third-party provider. The provider account and link are selected and controlled by you. Beamond Limited does not process or receive payments or donations, hold funds, access payment-card details, fulfil orders, issue donation receipts or refunds, or act as the seller, fundraiser, charity, payment provider, trustee or agent in the resulting transaction.

Our technical checks confirm only that a link uses a recognised provider and an accepted address format. They do not verify or endorse the seller, fundraiser, campaign, charitable status, goods or services, intended use of funds, eligibility for tax relief or accuracy of any claim.

You are responsible for ensuring that you are authorised to use the provider account and collect the relevant payments or donations. You are also responsible for accurate descriptions and prices, applicable taxes, delivery and fulfilment, cancellations, returns, refunds and chargebacks, donor communications, permissions, registrations, required disclosures, use of funds, and compliance with consumer, fundraising, charity, advertising and other laws that apply to you.

You must not publish a payment or donation link that is fraudulent, misleading, unlawful, unauthorised or likely to cause harm. Third-party providers have their own terms, fees, availability and dispute procedures. We may reject, remove or disable a link where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, enforcement of these Terms or protection of users.

5. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate information, keep your password confidential and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless it resulted from our failure to use reasonable security measures.

Website owners may invite other people to help manage a website. The owner is responsible for choosing those people and managing their access.

6. Free trial

A website currently receives a 60-day free trial beginning when it is first published. No payment details are required to start the trial. Unless we clearly state otherwise, a trial does not renew automatically into a paid subscription.

To keep a website live after its trial, you must select an available paid plan. We may limit repeated trials or misuse of trial offers.

7. Prices, subscriptions and payment

Plans may be billed monthly or annually. The price, currency, taxes where applicable, billing interval and renewal date will be shown before you subscribe.

A paid subscription renews automatically for the chosen billing interval until cancelled. You authorise our payment provider to charge the selected payment method at the start of each billing period. If payment fails, we may retry the charge and may suspend the website after giving reasonable notice.

We may change prices for a future billing period by giving reasonable advance notice. You may cancel before the new price takes effect.

8. Cancelling a subscription

You may cancel renewal at any time. Permanently deleting a website through Manage my website automatically cancels the subscription for that website so it will not renew. Deletion takes the website offline immediately, removes its content and cannot be undone.

If you want to stop renewal but keep the website available until the end of a billing period already paid for, use our verified contact form until a separate self-service cancellation option is available. Deletion does not automatically refund payments already made; the refund terms below still apply.

9. Refunds and cancellation rights

  • You may request a full refund of your first paid subscription within 14 days of the first payment.
  • You may request a full refund of an annual renewal within 14 days of that renewal. Access under the renewed period ends when the refund is processed.
  • Monthly renewal payments are normally non-refundable, but cancellation stops the following renewal and access continues to the end of the paid month.
  • If we end a paid service for reasons unrelated to your conduct, we will refund the unused portion of the prepaid period.

These arrangements are in addition to, and do not replace, any statutory cancellation, refund or remedy rights. To request a refund, use our verified contact form.

10. Your content

You retain ownership of content you supply. You give Beamond Limited a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, reproduce, resize, adapt for technical display, publish and transmit that content only as needed to provide, secure and improve the service.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for all wording, names, logos, photographs, images and other material you upload or publish, including permission from identifiable people where required.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your website, for keeping it up to date and for providing notices or information required by laws applying to your activities.

11. Prohibited use and moderation

You must not use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, dangerous or harmful activity; to infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other rights; to distribute malware or unsolicited messages; to impersonate another person; or to interfere with the service.

We may automatically scan uploaded files for malware and other security threats. We may reject, block or remove a file if it fails a security check or if the check cannot be completed safely.

A person may report a customer website through the verified contact form on BadPigeon. Receipt of a report does not establish that these Terms have been breached and does not automatically remove content or suspend a website. We may assess the report, seek further information from the reporter or customer, preserve relevant records and take proportionate action where reasonably necessary. We do not promise a particular outcome or completion time.

We may use automated services and human review to check content. We may reject, remove or restrict content, suspend a website or account, or contact an appropriate authority where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect people or comply with law. Where appropriate, we will explain the action and provide a way to ask for review. We aim to acknowledge a request for human review within five working days. More complex reviews may take longer, but we will keep you informed of material progress.

12. Website addresses

An address supplied through BadPigeon is a service address, not a domain name owned or registered by you. You receive a limited right to use it while the relevant website is eligible to remain published.

Addresses are allocated subject to availability and may not infringe another person's name, trade mark or rights. We may reserve, refuse, rename or withdraw an address where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, service operation or the rights of others. Alternative address endings may change or be withdrawn.

13. AI-generated suggestions and stock material

Wording generated with AI is a suggestion, not professional advice. You must review it for accuracy, suitability and rights issues before publishing it. We do not guarantee that suggested wording is unique.

Stock images and templates are supplied for use as part of the service, subject to any stated restrictions. You may not extract, resell or redistribute them as a standalone collection.

14. Availability and changes

We use reasonable care and skill in providing the service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, security incidents, supplier failures and events outside our reasonable control may affect access.

Our public service-status page is provided for general information. Automated monitoring may occasionally be delayed or incomplete and does not create a service-level commitment.

We may improve, replace or discontinue features. If a change materially reduces a paid service, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable and an appropriate remedy where required by law.

15. Export, suspension and deletion

You should keep copies of important material. Where the export feature is available, you may download a package containing your website content and images before deletion or the end of service.

We may suspend or terminate access for a serious or repeated breach, non-payment, a security threat or legal requirement. Except where urgent action is necessary, we will give reasonable notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.

Permanent deletion removes the website from the live service, automatically cancels its subscription so it will not renew, and may also remove the account where no other websites remain. Deleted content may persist temporarily in restricted backups until those backups are overwritten, but it may not be recoverable.

16. Our intellectual property

Beamond Limited and its licensors retain all rights in the platform, software, branding, designs, templates and other service material, excluding your content. These Terms grant only the rights needed to use the service in accordance with them.

17. Responsibility and liability

We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer rights.

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a reasonably foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for business losses suffered by a consumer.

If you use the service for business purposes, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business or anticipated savings. Subject to liabilities that cannot lawfully be limited, our total liability arising from the service will not exceed the fees paid for the affected website during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

18. Privacy

Our Privacy notice explains how Beamond Limited handles personal data.

Where the service provides a suggested or automatically prepared privacy notice, it is created using the information you provide, your website settings, your selected location and our standard templates. We take reasonable care in preparing and maintaining those templates, but we cannot know everything about how you collect, use, retain or share personal information outside the service.

You are responsible for reviewing the notice, making any necessary changes and ensuring that it accurately describes your activities and complies with the requirements applying to you. Suggested privacy wording is provided as practical assistance and does not constitute legal advice or a guarantee of compliance.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms for legal, security or service reasons. We will give reasonable advance notice of a material change affecting a paid subscription. If you do not accept such a change, you may cancel before it takes effect.

20. Irish law and complaints

These Terms are governed by Irish law. The Irish courts have jurisdiction, but if you are a consumer living elsewhere, you retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings available under the law applying to you.

Please send questions or complaints through our verified contact form. We will try to resolve complaints fairly and promptly.
